Barbed wire is a useful industrial product, mainly used for fencing purposes. Barbed wire fencing prevents the unwanted entrance and intrusion of animals and persons into the fenced area. It is commonly used in Bhutan, and it is considered one of the cheapest materials for fencing.
Thangthong Iron and Steel manufacture barbed wire using hot dipped galvanized wires. The wires are braided with a system of constant torsion, with barb prongs interlaced in the wires. The zinc-plating layer for carbon steel materials offers good corrosion resistance for the finished products.

The diameter of wire used for strands and barbs are 2.5mm and 2.65mm with a minimum distance of 75mm between two barbs. The length of barb is usually 13mm with minimum of 6mm between two barbs. Our standard roll comes in weight ranging from 30-35kg, but the weight may be customizable for bulk orders.
